Miss Woolf, we could not have put it better ourselves. With the date set for Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen on October 7th, our tummies are already rumbling for the best night in town.

Until then, we are going to celebrate the end of the week rituals that make the early morning wake up calls and the panic of rush hour bearable. For us, this includes serving up delicious food, shared with friends on a Friday night!

As the working week comes to an end, we would like you to share what is on your plate via Twitter for a chance to win a ticket to the glamorous event in its third year, held at Villa Park.

Every Monday prior to the cook off, we shall announce the theme of the week. From sizzling starters to melt in the mouth desserts, we want you to show us how it is done in the kitchen.

Each week, 1 lucky finalist who made our mouths water the most will be selected to go through to the final where our favourite chef, Glynn Purnell will select the overall winner to attend Birmingham’s most anticipated event.

Not only that, the 15 finalist’s delicious recipes will be featured inside an official cookbook so there is no excuse not to dine well!
